Being healthy and fit is becoming the biggest obstacle especially during the Covid times as people are working from home and thus, they are avoiding their body movement which in turn is affecting their healthy living.

The habit of the people has been changed due to working from homes, the traveling journey has been going down to almost zero.

Though things have been changing now still we can’t tolerate adjusting our healthy life.

Most of our time is either spend on habits like socializing on social media, digital devices or having junk food which is damaging our body at a slower level day by day and we realize this at the later stage of life.

Thus, I am sharing 5 amazing ways to stay healthy which are almost easy and you can make them a habit at the same time improving your immune system by being healthy. The ways are given below –

  1. Get quality sleep which will reduce stress -

Quality sleep is important for overall health and lack of sleep can cause many diseases like heart disease and obesity etc.

Quality sleep helps us with more energy, boosts metabolism, helps with stress management, and weight loss too.

Quality sleep includes the ability if you can have deep sleep or if you can fall asleep quickly which will make your entire body rest process successful.

When we are having quality sleep, our immune system releases the proteins that could fight inflammation and infection in our body.

As an adult, you should get on an average sleep of 7 to 8 hours and the quality sleep should be more for children and teenagers.

As mentioned above that quality sleep can help with stress management plus if you are sleep deprived then serious problems will be caused to your body such as depression, anxiety, paranoia, and psychosis.

When you are sleep deprived, the proteins that fight infections get lowered, and thus, you should get quality sleep to enhance your antibodies in your own body.

There are several ways to improve your quality of sleep if you are having a problem while sleeping, check my personal steps as mentioned below -

Decide a time when you want to sleep at night

Try to avoid drinking tea or coffee at late night

Stop using mobile phone half an hour before sleeping

Try to read some books which will calm your mind from distraction and you will feel like sleeping.

Switch off the lights and you will feel like you need to sleep now.

2. Exercise regularly -

The importance of exercise is that your blood should circulate and pump properly every single day, so you can feel energetic every day without being sick.

Exercising and lifting weights is important for your body as it can improve your appearance as well as makes you look better.

On the other hand, lifting weights can improve cholesterol, the levels of testosterone, growth hormones, and at the same time, lowers insulin and your blood sugar levels in your body.

Lifting weights does not only helps you with moving out toxins but at the same time it helps the bacteria to move out from your lungs and hence, your body will cleanse naturally.

Exercising is not just about lifting weights only but it could be about anything like power walking, running, pilates, yoga, and spinning.

3. Healthy eating and being hydrated -

Healthy eating is related to having unprocessed food which is a combination of plants and animals like eggs, meat, fish, fruits, nuts, vegetables, seeds, whole grains as well as healthy oil, fats, and dairy products.

Whole food or unprocessed food is packed with many types of nutrients, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants which are helpful in boosting our immune system and fight against different sorts of diseases.

Hence, Consume nutritious food and avoid processed foods.

Also, if you are obese or overweight then you need to cut down the food which consists of carbohydrates. By doing this, it will show some improvements in your body.

If you love having fruits that contain a lot of water that means you are already hydrated or not then you need to start drinking water to be hydrated.

When you are hydrated, your immune system gets stronger to fight against infections and the toxins are flushed out from your body as water provides oxygen to your cells so your body can function properly.

4. Make your brain active -

As mentioned above, exercise is required for your body and thus, exercise is also required for your brain too.

Constant exercise can make your central nervous system strong and the central nervous system is the only part that controls your body functions from breathing to digestion, so it needs extra care compared to the body.

Consumption of unprocessed food like fruits and vegetables can enhance your mental health.

You can even enhance your brain health by solving challenging problems or reading a book.

Exercise of your brain can improve your cognitive functions like memory, concentration, ability to solve problems, and enhance your alertness.

5. Avoid toxic things in your body

Toxic things could be considered as alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, and processed food which harm your body and thus should be avoided for your healthy life.

Abusive drugs and tobacco are considered bad for everyone and alcohol is fine and that too in moderation whoever can tolerate it but still, it is harmful to the body.

Every one of us has those processed and junk food which can cause harmful effects to the body and thus, we have to cut down those processed or packed foods to make ourselves healthy.

These types of foods are hard to resist as they are made for the taste and unhealthy for our body.

They add those specific ingredients which should be avoided and they are added sugar which includes high-fructose corn syrup and sucrose. You must also avoid trans-fat as it is found in packaged baked foods.

Summary –

If you want a change in your life and have a healthy lifestyle. You need to start using the above way in one go and for the long term to see the benefits. Also, start from one way and stick to it. When you subconsciously start doing it then select the other one, thus you can change your life in a healthy way.
